Vision Center of Santa Maria runs this website. This policy explains what information the site collects, why we collect it, and how to reach us about it. It covers this website only. Records from your care at our office are handled separately.

What we collect

When you fill out a form, we receive what you enter:

  • Appointment requests: your contact details (name, phone number and email) and what you tell us about your visit.
  • Job applications: your contact details and what you tell us about your experience.

The site also collects some information on its own, such as your IP address, your browser and device, the pages you visit, the links you use, and the site that sent you here.

How we use it

To answer your request, schedule your visit, consider your application, keep spam out of our forms, and learn which pages help visitors so we can improve the site.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it with the services that run this site for us:

  • Cloudflare, the network this site runs on, which also checks our forms for spam and bots.
  • An analytics service that counts visits and the actions taken on the site.
  • The services that deliver form messages to our inbox.
  • A map service that shows our location, and a video service that plays our videos.

Links to other sites, such as patient registration or sharing a page, take you to services with their own privacy policies.

Cookies and your choices

Our analytics service uses cookies and similar browser storage to tell one visit from the next. The map and video services may set their own.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If your browser sends Global Privacy Control (a privacy signal some browsers offer), the site does not load its analytics.

Children

This site is meant for adults. A parent or guardian should request appointments for a child, and we do not knowingly collect information from children through the site.
